Tour de Snowcap

2PM on a Saturday a group of good looking men wearing Hawaiian shirts mounted their steeds and set off on the inaugural Tour de Snowcap! The peloton set off for the first stage at the infamous Queens Cross.

Heading to the Queens Cross

After a brief yet lengthy stay, the riders headed on to the Black Bear where a well deserved “feed beer” was waiting for all.

The Black Bear

While at the Bear, the group was joined to more riders. Jimmy, had the greatest impact on the group.

Heading on from the Bear, there was the expected road carnage, when Fernando decided the quickest route to the Rusty Gull was a straight line. In this case, that meant going through a large hedge. Jmoore swapped out his bike for a more robust version. Eventually the entire group made it to the Gull. A well deserved beer was enjoyed by all.

The group soon became restless and it was decided to head to the Black Kettle Brewing Company. A peloton split with some heading off with Jmoore navigating the smaller group. After finding our way again, we joined up with the main group for a beer and some meat!

The next stage was to the Hurricane Grill where the group at more food and drank more beer.

After what seemed to be the shortest hour, the peloton meandered to the Pemberton Station for a beer. During this stage, the wheels came off for many. The Pemberton was packed for the UFC fights and the group stayed quite a few hours. Some riders dropped of the peloton and were not seen again.

A hardy group of over achievers head on to the Tap and Barrel and were never seen again.

A huge thanks to Dedric for organising the inaugural Tour de Snowcap.
