End of Summer News
Season 2005/6 Summer
is now almost over .............update Aug 22nd 2005.
Club dues $250 - to be paid on or before Sept 30th 2006 ($200 for
CRFC life members)
Sept 10th - opening season festival at SOB's in White Rock - contact
Chico.
Training ( ! ) or what ever will continue to be on Wednesdays at Hugo
Ray Cricket field until Sept 7th - commencing Thursday Sept 15th we
will return to Klahanie and more serious training will take place commencing
at 6pm. Coach anyone?
Schedule awaited from PNW+40 RFU.
Do not assume all games will start at 1 pm Sundays, there will be changes
and these will be advised.
A new rule for this season will effect teams playing away - there is
now a heavy fine of $500 in the event the traveling team defaults
without sufficient notice . This will place responsibility on the traveling
team and we must ensure that members turn out and commit to away games.
The big road trips are Kelowna (Vicars), Seattle (NWOBs) and Victoria
(Ebb Tide) - The Club usually gets a bus for Kelowna & Seattle
- these can be fun trips and we all need to make the commitment . Let
us not just be a 'home' team.
